Country Roads at Acanteen 

Alter States, in association with City Sound Country Roads and The Nightshift FM radio shows presents this series of monthly shows at the wonderful seated Acanteen venue in Chelmsford.

Gigs will be 2nd Thursday of the month until October then move to 3rd Thursday monthly.   

TWO WAYS HOME - Headliner 

This beloved duo blends catchy melodies, rich harmonies, and rocky guitars into their signature country-folk-rock sound. With numerous awards, Two Ways Home continue to win over fans with their captivating songwriting and energetic live shows. If you’re a fan of Fleetwood Mac, The Lumineers, or Daisy Jones & The Six, you’ll love their exhilarating sound.

The duo are trailblaizers in the UK Country scene hosting successful Nashville style 'Songwriter In The Round' sessions across the UK. Regulars on the Festival circuit  it is a rea treat to host them at Acanteen.

Briggs & Stark are an emerging UK country duo recognised for their fresh take on storytelling and dynamic musical style. Combining rich harmonies with a distinctive blend of country, folk, and Americana influences, the pair have quickly gained attention for their heartfelt songwriting and engaging performances. Their debut single, Go Ahead, introduced audiences to their unique sound, featuring an unexpected yet captivating flute arrangement that sets them apart in the genre.
